TEMPE PHOTOS

I'm usually a words-only kind of guy on my blog, but I thought more visual learners might appreciate a few pics of my new home base. Tempe is a suburb of Phoenix, but was an independent town at the end of the 19th century.



Tempe is famous locally for the "river" (Rio Salado) and its bridges ...



The other major landmark is the ASU campus - here with the Papago mountains in the background:
